Demo Reel Breakdown
My goal for this project was to create a series of artistically curated photo-real sequences which feel like they exist in the same world. I was heavily inspired by dark surrealism and feelings of climate anxiety and political instability.
A big challenge was to film outside during the Canadian winter which meant that my film crew and I would have to brave freezing weather and sharp wind to complete my production. Although difficult, this helped me create a harsh atmosphere of snow, ice, and blowing wind in my plates which would otherwise be extremely difficult to create in a green-screen environment.
